Lakshdeepam   approx 1,25,000 Diyas lit simultaneously, each diya a mighty star in itself. A never before and once in a life time milestone was created with this event. words are inadequate to describe what happened. the pictures below depict this record creation which to date still stands unchallenged in the LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS.

But before the pictures a few words from the Real Giant Mr T.K.Subramaniam  who conceived, created and executed this gigantic project.

"The idea of Lakshadeepam was started about 15yrs back when I was sitting with Mr.Gopal Suresh in his office and planning out something to do unique. We met Mr Chakraborthy from M/s.Parle International who had come down to Mumbai on official work about the above project which was well appreciated but unfortunately the thing did not materialise.

Every time it was taken up for discussion nobody was prepared to shoulder the responsibility.

But when Mr. Madhavan from M/s.Fly Jac forwarders gave a cheque of Rs.1,00,000 for the above project, we were able to achieve it under the banner of Giants Group of Chembur in association with Warrier foundation.

My heart felt thanks goes to Mr. Madhavan for sponsoring the event, and also to Mrs. Suguna Mohan & Mr. vijayan Warrier who worked day in & dayout for making this event a grand success."
